Definition: (verb) fight
Example: Jack didn’t want to scrap with his wife in the restaurant because he was pretty sure he would be beaten.

Fight songs are in style these days. First it was Ludacris, who said he was “just thinkin' about brawlin' (fighting) 'til y'all start bawlin' (crying)” in Get Back. Then Gwen Stefani that she was “gonna sock it to you” (punch you) in Hollaback Girl.
The usual slang term for a fight between two women is a catfight, and Valentine says you shouldn’t try to get into one with her. On her website, she explains, “I could be the sweetest thing you’ve ever ran across, but if you get on my bad side, my attitude could hit you like a sack of can goods.”
As for who has gotten on her bad side, she says the song Girlfight isn’t about anyone in particular, although there were rumors that it was written about a beef with singer Ciara. And despite Big Boi’s rap, she does not remove her long press-on fingernails before attacking her opponent in the video for the song.
