A Jack of all trades is a person who can do many different jobs. However, it comes from an old expression: "I'm the Jack of all trades and master of none." This means "I can do a lot of things, but I don't do any of them very well." Here, it has a double meaning. A carved pumpkin with a light inside (like one for Halloween) is called a Jack-o'-lantern. This article is about the many different kind of food you can make with pumpkins. Article in Yankee magazine November 2002
