Jesus has Two Mommies

The title of this alternative comic holiday musical comes from a famous children's book by Leslea Newman, Heather Has Two Mommies. The groundbreaking story of a little girl and her lesbian parents was considered shocking when it came out in 1989.

Jesus Has Two Mommies has also shocked some people in Boston, and the show was picketed by some people who felt (without having seen it) that it was disrespectful of the Bible.

The schlock that rocks is back!

Schlock, meaning something inferior, is used here as a joke.
